Who We Are
The New Horizon Church is a faith community in the heart of Rock County in southern Wisconsin. We’re located on the crest of a rolling hillside between the communities of Orfordville and Footville.
“New Horizon” reminds us that God always leads us on our life journey, pointing us toward a future of hope and possibility. New Horizon UMC seeks to be a place where people of all ages and walks of life can experience God’s love and grace as we walk this journey.
Make-A-Change
A special loose change offering on the fourth Sunday of month. Monies collected will support Project 16:49, benefitting Rock Count homeless teens. Please join us in supporting the youth in Rock County with your gifts and prayers!
Our Pastor
The Rev. Ann Scott serves New Horizon UMC as pastor. She has served God throughout her life in a number of ways: in raising a family, as a staff member for several non-profit organizations, as a lifelong United Methodist, and then as a pastor. She came to New Horizon in September 2021.
Pastor Ann holds a bachelor’s degree from Mount Mary College in Milwaukee and a master of divinity degree from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, Ill. She is an avid horsewoman and knitter, among many interests.
Our Mission
New Horizon UMC welcomes people from country or city, young or old, working or retired, new to the faith or lifelong Christ-followers. We fulfill the mission by learning what it means to be a disciple and discovering together how to serve others.
